The Blue Tit arrives near the Great Tit. It is clearly going for the bird, not the perch - feet first. A dangerous tackle, especially 6 foot up in the air! By this time the Great Tit has a seed in its bill. Web search

I had a 35mm camera with 300mm lens fully open at f/4.5 on a tripod, pre-focussed on a bird-seed-feeder about 10 foot away. The camera was fired single-shot (motorised wind-on but not continuous) with a 1-metre cable release. |
